Accessibility for Arabic & English Interfaces

Davio White January 23, 2026

Multilingual accessibility has unique challenges.

Arabic Accessibility Considerations:

  • RTL reading order
  • Typography legibility
  • Numerals and punctuation

English Accessibility Considerations:

  • LTR structure
  • Line length and spacing
  • Clear emphasis

Shared Best Practices:

  • Direction-aware components
  • Consistent focus order
  • Equal accessibility across languages

Accessibility must be equally strong in both Arabic and English—not an afterthought.
